Supreme Court To Post Audio Of Arguments

Traditionally, the Supreme Court has been the one branch of government that has remained untouched by the technological era. No cameras, no broadcasting. Only a handful of times, beginning with the case of Bush v. Gore in 2000, has it allowed audio recordings of oral arguments to be broadcast on the same day.

Now that’s going to change. Instead of releasing the audio of arguments at the end of the term, as they have done, they’re going to release the recordings each week, after the Justices conference on Fridays.
